Controls on your Spin2U account

If you would like a deposit limit, a time-out, self-exclusion or to close your account, look in your Spin2U account settings or ask our support team.

When you set something up, ask support to confirm what it applies to and the moment it begins. That way you know exactly where you stand. Controls can differ, so it is worth asking rather than assuming.

Limits you set yourself

Before you begin playing, settle on how much you are prepared to spend and how long you are going to play. Once you reach either limit, finish up. Deciding both numbers before you log in is easier than drawing a line partway through a session.

If you have lost, resist the urge to keep going to recover it; chasing a loss means putting more money in. And if gambling is getting harder to keep under control, give yourself a break from it.

Why BetStop won't block a casino account

BetStop is the National Self-Exclusion Register for licensed Australian online and phone betting providers. Online casino games sit outside it.

So registering with BetStop does not close a Spin2U account, and it does not stop you getting into one. For a casino account, the restriction has to be arranged with that casino's support team. If you have already joined BetStop and also want a break from Spin2U, contact our support team as well.

Independent support services, such as the ones listed at the top of this page, can help if you are working out what to do next.
